Attainable luxury · Heathrow VIP
Heathrow's private terminal takes you from your front door to the aircraft steps without a queue in sight. It costs thousands. Here are six rungs on the ladder, from £12.50 to £3,812, what each really gets you and how to book it.

The short answer
Prices checked 18 October 2026
The Windsor Suite Heathrow, renamed The Windsor by Heathrow in February 2025, is the airport's private terminal: a chauffeur collects you, a team handles check-in, security and passports in a private lounge, and a car drives you to the aircraft. It costs from £3,812 including VAT for up to three people, and you must be flying First or Business. Below it sit five cheaper ways to skip the worst of Heathrow: Fast Track security from £12.50 a person, the No1 Lounge in Terminal 3 from £34, Plaza Premium in Terminal 5 from £45, a meet-and-assist greeter from about £120, and a BA First ticket, which opens the First Wing and the Concorde Room.
Who it is for: the reader who flies a few times a year and wants one trip, a honeymoon, a big birthday, to start differently. Most of the value is in the first three rungs. The last three are about privacy and being looked after, and the price jumps accordingly.
Every price below has its source and date, checked on 18 October 2026. We could not load heathrow.com's own booking pages for this guide, so Heathrow's prices come from its press office, its Meet and Assist page and dated reports. Confirm the price when you book.

Paid departures lane relaunched June 2024
The cheapest real upgrade at Heathrow. You book a one-hour security slot and use the dedicated lane, so the worst queue of the day shrinks to a few minutes. Business and First passengers and airline frequent flyers already get it free.
Skip it if you are already flying Business or First, or hold airline status: you have this lane anyway.
How to book it
Book a slot on Heathrow's website up to midday the day before you fly. Bookings can be changed or refunded if your flight is delayed or cancelled. For arrivals, Heathrow sells a separate Fast Track at passport control, and every passenger, children included, needs a booking.
The £12.50 departures price is from the June 2024 relaunch; the arrivals prices are from July 2025. We could not load Heathrow's booking page to confirm today's price.

02 · No1 Lounges
Airside in Terminal 3
The pay-in lounge with the most to it. An adults-only quiet library, a travel spa and private en-suite bedrooms you can add for a fee, which makes it the nearest thing at Heathrow to an airside nap room.
Skip it if you fly from Terminal 5. This lounge is in Terminal 3, and you cannot cross between terminals airside.
How to book it
Book ahead through a lounge reseller or No1 directly: SkyParkSecure listed it from £34 an adult. Ask for a bedroom when you book; rooms are subject to availability. One bistro dish each is included, and extra dishes cost more.
Walk-up prices for No1 at Heathrow are around £40 to £47, according to an unofficial Heathrow guide; booking ahead is cheaper.

04 · ALLWAYS by Plaza Premium, and Heathrow's partners
ALLWAYS launched at Heathrow in September 2026
A person meets you at the kerb, takes you through check-in and priority security, into a lounge and to the gate. It is the closest thing to the private terminal on a normal ticket, and the price is per booking, not per head.
Skip it if you are a confident, light-packing traveller. Fast Track and a lounge get you most of the time saved for a fraction of the price.
How to book it
Plaza Premium's ALLWAYS service costs £230 for two at every Heathrow terminal, including lounge entry, and launched with 15% off. Heathrow's own Meet and Assist page lists five partner firms, starting from £120 (Global Airport Concierge) up to £234; check whether the price is per person or per booking.
Heathrow's page does not say whether its partner prices are per person or per booking. The ALLWAYS price is for two; we found no price for one or for three.

05 · British Airways, Terminal 5
Concorde Room for BA First passengers only
The VIP route most people can actually reach. Fly BA First and you check in at the First Wing, use its own security, and wait in the Concorde Room with waiter-served dining and private booths. You cannot buy your way in any other way.
Skip it if you only want the lounge. The Concorde Room is open only to passengers on a BA flight in First; Gold members get the First Wing and First lounges, not the Concorde Room.
How to book it
Watch for a BA First sale to the US East Coast: in May 2025 Head for Points saw £2,310 return to Newark, with a Saturday night away. Or spend Avios: 68,000 one way to New York off-peak, plus a few hundred pounds in taxes.
The £2,310 fare is from a May 2025 sale and may not be bookable now. It buys a flight as well as the airport experience.

06 · Heathrow VIP
The Windsor Suite Heathrow, refurbished and renamed February 2025
"Clearly designed for peace and privacy in equal measure"
Business Traveller, May 2025
The top of the ladder, and what people still search for as the Windsor Suite Heathrow. A chauffeur in an electric BMW collects you within 25 miles, your group gets its own suite with a butler and a menu by Jason Atherton, a team handles passports, bags and security, and a car drives you to the aircraft. Arriving, you are met at the plane.
Skip it if you are flying Economy or Premium Economy. You must hold a First or Business ticket on any airline, and availability is the main challenge, so book early.
How to book it
Book through heathrowvip.com, yourself or through a PA. The price covers up to three people for a two-hour lounge slot on departure, or up to an hour on arrival. Each extra guest adds just under £900, up to 12, and groups of 12 to 20 can combine two suites at a bespoke price.
Heathrow quotes £3,812 including VAT (£3,177 before VAT) for up to three. The per-guest step is from Business Traveller's May 2025 visit. Chauffeur trips beyond 25 miles cost extra.

The price ladder
Per person unless stated. Meet and assist is £230 for two, shown here as £115 each; The Windsor is £3,812 for up to three. The BA fare is a 2025 return sale fare and includes the flight.
Split the cost
Lounges and BA First are priced per person. Meet and assist and The Windsor are priced per booking, so a couple or a family of three pays less each. Above three, The Windsor adds just under £900 for each extra guest, up to 12; we use £900 here, so the real figure is a little lower. Slide to your group.

Questions
The Windsor Suite was Heathrow's private VIP terminal. Since February 2025 it is called The Windsor by Heathrow. It has eight private lounges, a team that handles check-in, security and passports for you, and chauffeur-driven cars to and from the aircraft. It costs from £3,812 including VAT for up to three people, and you must be flying First or Business on any airline.
From £3,812 including VAT (£3,177 before VAT) for up to three people. Business Traveller reported that each extra guest adds just under £900, up to 12, and that chauffeur trips beyond 25 miles cost extra.
Yes. Plaza Premium (near gate A7) and Club Aspire (near gate A18) both sell entry, from about £45 an adult when booked ahead. The BA lounges and the Concorde Room cannot be bought; you need the right ticket or status.
On price they are level at about £45. Plaza Premium has its own toilets and showers and lets you stay longer if you book a longer slot; Club Aspire limits you to three hours and had no on-site toilets when InsideFlyer visited. InsideFlyer found both crowded, so neither is a quiet escape at peak times.
Heathrow has no airside sleeping pods. The nearest thing is Aerotel in the Terminal 3 arrivals hall, before security, where a 2023 review found night rates of £150 to £250, often over £200. Airside, the No1 Lounge in Terminal 3 sells private en-suite bedrooms for a fee on top of entry.
For £12.50 a person, usually yes at busy times. You book a one-hour slot up to midday the day before, and Business and First passengers already get the lane free.
