What our guides are

Our guides are independent editorial opinion, researched and checked on the date shown on each page. Prices, schedules, rules and opening times change, so always confirm the details with the hotel, airline or operator before you book. We are not a travel agent and do not sell travel ourselves.

Shortlists and stamps

A "Shortlisted" stamp means a property qualified on research, as set out in how we choose. It is not a stay of our own. A "Stayed and verified" stamp is only given after a real stay, and any hosted stay is disclosed on the page.
